Are your products made in Australia?

Yes, our products are 100% designed, printed and hand crafted right here in Australia.

How do I set my bedhead up?

Our Statement and Low Profile bed heads are freestanding and do not require a stand or fixing to your bed. Simply position your bed head up against the wall and place your bed up against it. The weight of your bed will ensure the bed head stays in place.

Upon purchasing your Floating bed head you will receive a set of brackets and easy to understand instructions with directions on how to install your bed head.

What is a freestanding bedhead?

What sort of bed works with your bed heads?

Any bed that does not have a bed head attached can be used with a Mexsii Bedhead. We often do highlight some of our favourite bed bases on our blog and social media pages, so be sure to sign up to the mailing list to get the inside scoop.

Will my bedhead still sit flush if I have skirting boards?

Yes, our legs are centred in the bottom of the bed head frame so standard height skirting boards will not affect the balance of your bed head.

How does the floating bed head attach to the wall?

Upon purchasing your Floating bed head you will receive a set of brackets and easy to understand instructions with directions on how to install your bed head.

I have a power point where I would like to position my new bed head. Will this mean my bed head will not sit flush against the wall?

Our unique shape Mexsii Bedhead design means this will not be an issue, our clever designers have not sacrificed practicality for good looks. Your power boards in the centre of your bedroom wall can still easily be accessed whilst your bed head is sitting flush against the wall.

Is there a warranty with my bed head?

Mexsii provides a 12-month warranty for any issues that arise with your bed head deemed to be manufacturing faults. Each claim will be assessed on an individual basis so please contact us if you are not 100% in love with your purchase.

What do I do if I find a fault with my bedhead

In the unexpected event that your bed head has a fault please contact us immediately (within 7 days) to discuss.

What bed head height is suitable for my bed?

For beds heights of 55cm and lower we recommend the Low Profile bed head and for beds heights of 55cm and higher we recommend the Statement bed head. Floating bed heads will be suitable for all beds as it is fixed to the wall at optimum the height.

Is there somewhere I can go to view the product before purchasing?

We do not have a physical store and for safety reasons cannot allow customers in the warehouse. We do however offer swatch fabric samples, which provide a great indication of fabric colour and texture. We also offer 7-day refund on any purchases that you are not in love with.

Are all your prices in Australian Dollars? (AUD)

All pricing is in Australian dollars.

Do your prices include GST?

All prices include GST.

What Type of payments do you accept?

Mexsii accepts credit card payment from debit cards (issued by Australian banks) and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard & American Express).

Is it safe to pay by credit card?

Yes. We use the fully encrypted Stripe payment gateway that offers the most advanced credit card security. We do not store, or have future access to any credit card information that you enter into the Mexsii website.

My computer froze while processing payment. How will I know that my payment went through successfully?

You will only receive a confirmation email for your purchase once the payment has gone through successfully.

Do you keep my credit card details?

Mexsii does not store any credit card details

How do I know my order has been successful?

You will receive an email telling you that your order has been submitted with all of your order details

How do I change my order after purchasing?

If you would like to make any changes to your order, please contact info@mexsii.com.au immediately to ensure production has not already commenced on your product.

How do I use my credit voucher?

Enter your unique voucher number into the coupon code section at the end of the checkout to redeem your voucher.

What are the Lay-by and Split Payment options?

Split payment
– 50% deposit of total purchase price is paid to place your order
– Balance will be taken via direct debit 4 weeks after the date order is placed (A Mexsii Representative will contact you within 2 business days to set this up over the phone)
– Production time is 7 weeks
– Delivery time is 1- 2 weeks (Depending on location)

6-Week Lay-By
– 25% un-refundable deposit of total purchase price is paid to place your order
– 3 fortnightly payments will be taken via direct debit, from the date order is placed (A Mexsii Representative will contact you within 2 business days to set this up over the phone)
– Production time is 8 weeks
– Delivery time is 1- 2 weeks (Depending on location)
– Items will not be shipped unless paid for in full
– Should you decide to cancel your lay by you will forfeit your 25% deposit and incur a $200 cancellation fee, any repayments made will be refunded back into your nominated account.

12-Week Lay-By

Can I order a sample swatch of fabric?

Yes, when in the Mexsii Bedhead Designer wait for the pop-out to appear when hovering over the thumbnail and select “Add Swatch to Cart”

Do you offer a Trade Discount?

Yes, we offer a special trade discount to all trade professionals. Simply apply for a trade account to be approved for the discount.

Can I request to use a fabric that is currently not available in the Mexsii Design Studio?

We have specially curated the fabric options in the Design Studio to make sure that your bed head will look beautiful with all the combinations. This means we do not offer any additional fabrics to the options already available. We are always interested in customer feedback and requests so please feel free to communicate your suggestions to info@mexsii.com.au

Can I supply my own fabric?

Unfortunately we do not offer a BYO fabric service.

Can I request to customise the dimension of my bed head?

Yes, we can offer some adjustments to bed head dimensions. Please email us at info@mexsii.com.au to enquire about this service.

Do I have to Log In to make my purchase?

No you do not have to log in to make your purchase, however by creating an account and logging in you can create and save multiple designs. This is super handy when trying to choose between all the amazing colour combinations you have created. Trade professionals will only receive the trade discount when they are logged in.

How long does it take for my bed head to be made and delivered?

Our standard lead-time on bed heads is approximately 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Closer to that date we will work out a suitable time during standard business hours for your bed head to be delivered. If you have purchased on layby, this will increase the lead-time. How do I know if My Delivery is Free?

Delivery is free to most capital cities in Australia. To check if you qualify for free shipping, enter your postcode into the shipping calculator in the MyMexsii Design Studio or at check out.

How much is delivery if I live outside metro Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide or Hobart?

Can I pick up my order direct from Mexsii?

To provide you with the best possible prices for your personalised bed head we do not have showrooms or stores to enable direct pick-up of products.

Does someone need to be home to accept delivery?

Yes, someone will need to be available to accept delivery on the day arranged with the specialist furniture removal company. Furthermore, our carriers provide a door-to-door service, however this does not include carrying items up stairs, placement, or removal of packaging. If you are concerned about this please send us an email to info@mexsii.com.au quoting your reference number at the time of purchase.

Can my order be delivered to a Depot?

Unfortunately we are only able to deliver to a house address, if you have an unusual delivery request please contact us via email at info@mexsii.com.au as we love to help out where possible.

My bed head hasn’t arrived yet. What can I do?

If your bed head has not arrived within the given lead time period specified and you have not been contacted to advise your bed head has been sent off with our couriers please email us at info@mexsii.com.au with your reference number and details of your order so we can provide you with an update.

How do I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?

Please email info@mexsii.com.au to update your delivery address prior to receiving your ready for delivery email. If the new delivery address changes the delivery region additional courier charges may apply.

Do you Ship Internationally?

Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer International Shipping.

What happens if I don’t like my bed head once it arrives?

We know you will fall in love with your Mexsii Bedhead at first glance but we also understand some matches are not always made in heaven. If you contact us within 7 days of your bed head being delivered we will exchange or refund your order! If opting for a refund and you are within our free shipping zone, you can return your item for free. If outside of our free shipping zone you will need to obtain a quote for sending back to us. Please ensure your returned items are securely packaged before sending back to us.

Can I return sale items?

Any items purchased on sale are unable to be returned unless deemed a manufacturing fault upon inspection by Mexsii.

What if the item I received is not what I ordered?

Please email us within 7 days of your bed head being delivered and we will exchange or refund your order. Please ensure your returned items are securely packaged before sending back to us.

How do I return my purchase?

Contact us at info@mexsii.com.au within 7 days of your bed head being delivered and we will provide you with instructions for your return. Ensure you keep all of your packaging to return items securely.

What is the return notice period?

To be eligible for a return contact us within 7 days of your bed head being delivered at info@mexsii.com.au.

How long does it take for me to receive my returned funds?

Once we receive your bed head your refund will be processed between 1-3 business days. For refunds back to your original payment method, please note that your financial institution may need 5-10 days to clear the funds back into your account.

What are the shipping charges in case of returns?

Should you decide to return your order within the 7 day period and you are within our free shipping zone you have access to free returns. If you are outside our free shipping zone we will provide you with a quote to return your purchase back to us.

I need to return an item but I don’t have the original packaging. What should I do?

If you no longer have your original packaging you can still return your item. Simply ensure that your bed head is wrapped securely before being picked up by our delivery partners. Mexsii will not be held liable for any damaged goods that have not been adequately secured by the customer.

What do I do if my bed head arrives damaged?

In the unexpected event that your bedhead has arrived damaged please contact us immediately (within 7 days) to discuss.

How do I create a new account?

Select Sign Up (hyperlink) from the navigation bar and enter your details. You will then receive an email confirming your account. Now you are ready to start creating and saving your unique bed head designs!

How do I sign up for a trade account?

Select trade account from the navigation bar. You will be asked to enter your business name and ABN, if you have been accepted for a trade account you will receive a confirmation email within 48h hours. In the interim, you will be able to use your email and password to sign in and start saving designs as a standard account.

Where will I find my saved designs?

To access your saved designs you must be logged in to your account. Once logged in, click the love heart icon in the navigation bar to access your saved designs.

How do I unsubscribe from your newsletter?

Ohh no we’ll be sad to see you go, but we respect your wishes. To unsubscribe just open any newsletter we have sent you, scroll to the bottom and click ‘unsubscribe’. Please allow up to 3 business days for the subscription removal to become effective.

If you place an order with us in the future, please remember to un-check the subscription box each time you submit an order.
